We’ll be celebrating Earth Day on Sunday April 21st at the Taproom from 12-4pm! Join us as we clean up our neighborhood and care for its young trees.

We’ll be taking particular care of a birch tree at the corner of South St. and Windsor St. that needs a little TLC. We’ll be naming the tree (possibly Birch Lancaster) and building a low fence out of used pallets to protect it from being littered upon (see below).

Come on down to Portico, have a few drinks, throw a few bags, and socialize with other people with a fun activity! Wicked Awesome Cornhole League is a round robin style cornhole tournament held every Tuesday inside the taproom!

The Details:
The tournament begins with nightly registration at 6:00pm on the given Tuesday. We begin playing single elimination games based on randomized round robin style tournament. Games will be played by the first team to reach 21 points or above to ensure pace is moving for the evening. Play ends at 8:45pm.

All cornhole bags and boards will be provided and rules will mostly follow ACL rules: ACL Rules (except minor things like 21+ point scoring).

Begin your morning with Andrea Savino’s all-levels yoga class, followed by a private half hour in the Taproom before it opens to the public. Portico has plenty on tap to suit your happy hour needs as well as a selection of bites from Johnny Pomodoro! Should you wish to continue adventuring after class, you are less than a mile from both Kendall and Union Square where you can find everything from axe-throwing to unique dining experiences.

*Class takes place on the 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month!
